Primary Cut
In the Stone Industry there are several processes. Extraction is one of these and it can be done in different ways, with diamond wire, with a chain saw or in some cases by drilling.
Block Squaring
After the extraction the blocks need to be "squared" for transportation or to be cut with a Gang Saw Blade.
Profiling
Through this process you can obtain the desired shape from the block, and create curved slabs like shells for columns or other architectural shapes. At this stage it is very important to use a very sharp diamond wire in order not to loose the alignment of the wire with the cut and maintan the correct desired shape.
